Why renewable energy

Renewable energy (EnR) comes from sources that nature constantly renews. As opposed to non-renewable energy whose reserves are running out. The five main sources of renewable energy are sun, wind, water, biomass and geothermal energy. Nicknamed “clean or green energy”, it generates very little waste and polluting emissions. This is why we invest in renewable energy projects, more specifically in wind and solar energy. These energies have the particularity of being intermittent and this is why TTR Energy is increasingly interested in storage solutions such as hydrogen and batteries.

Our engagements

Through the Multi-year Energy Program (PPE) defined in April 2020, France is committed to ensuring that 40% of energy consumption comes from renewable energies by 2028.

This plan reflects the reality and importance of this change. The production units from RnR are now mature and competitive. They not only provide responses to environmental issues but also contribute to the response to economic, social and geopolitical issues through the creation of jobs, the creation of an industrial sector, local tax benefits and energy independence.

We are proud to be part of this energy transition and to share this adventure with you. As an economic entity active in the energy transition, TTR is convinced of the importance of making CSR commitments and communicating to other entities the urgency of joining the effort. As such, find our CSR charter here
